Frequently asked questions
How does the payment process work?
Before work begins, 50% of the total fee is requested as a deposit. Once the design is complete, the remaining 50% is collected and all files are then delivered in full.
The packaging copy isn't ready, do you prepare it?
If you'd like, I professionally prepare the text on the packaging to suit your product's target audience.
Are the designs delivered print-ready?
Yes, all work is delivered as a print-house-compatible, high-resolution PDF with technical dimensions set.
Do you adapt the design for product variations?
Yes, from one main design I also create matching variations for different flavours, weights or product types.
Which payment methods do you accept?
I accept bank transfer / EFT or credit card. After delivery I issue an official invoice to complete the process.
Can we get the source files of your designs?
Optionally, at the end of the project I also deliver open source files such as Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or Photoshop (.psd).
Do you only do packaging design?
No, I also offer design services from A to Z, such as logo design, brand identity, label design, catalog and brochure design. You can find details on my Services page.
Do you support the printing process?
If you wish, I also help with processes such as coordinating the print-ready files with the print house and approving proofs.
How long does the packaging design process take?
The first design drafts are usually presented within 5-7 business days. Depending on the revision rounds, the whole process is completed in 1-3 weeks.
How many revisions do I get during the design?
I provide revision support until you're satisfied. We manage the process together until a design you're completely happy with emerges.
