How is custom software development priced?
The price is set by the complexity of the work, not the number of screens. Once the scope is clear we prepare a fixed-price quote. Payment is tied to delivery stages and the price does not change unless the scope does. What defines the scope:

What is custom software development?
It is software designed and coded from scratch around your processes, user roles and data structure, rather than a ready-made program you buy and adapt. The result is a system that belongs only to you and grows with your business.
When should you choose custom software over off-the-shelf software?
When your processes hit the limits of ready-made systems, when several programs need to be connected, when you want a secure workspace for external users such as dealers or customers, or when your competitive advantage lies in the process itself. For a standard need, off-the-shelf software is often the better choice. We tell you so openly when we talk.
How long does a custom software project take?
It depends on the scope: the number of modules, the integrations, the user roles and how quickly you give approvals. During discovery, we draw up a staged timeline alongside the scope and put the first usable version live as early as possible. Development then continues on the working system.
How is the cost of custom software calculated?
User roles, business rules, number of integrations, data structure, security needs, admin panel, reporting, mobile compatibility and the support model make up the scope. Once the scope is clear, a fixed-price quote is prepared. Payment is tied to delivery stages.
Who owns the source code?
Once the project fee is settled, the project-specific source code, repository, database backup and service access are handed over to you. It is a clause in the contract. If you wish, you can carry on developing the system with another team.
Can you integrate with our existing ERP or CRM?
If your system has an API, an export facility or database access, yes. During discovery we define the integration points, data direction and sync frequency together, and we tell you upfront where a provider does not allow it.
Can you extend or rewrite our existing software?
We first review the existing code and data. If the foundation is sound, we recommend building on it. If it has become unmaintainable, we propose a staged rewrite. The recommendation comes in writing, with its reasoning, after the review.
Do you provide maintenance and support after launch?
Yes. After delivery, defects are fixed free of charge for the period stated in the contract. After that, a separate support model is planned for maintenance, monitoring and new development as needed.
Can web and mobile apps be developed together?
Yes. A web application and iOS and Android apps can be planned on the same backend and database, so both products share the same data and business rules.
What happens if a new feature is added during the project?
Every request outside the approved scope is assessed in writing. Its effect on the timeline and price is stated, and it is added to the plan with your approval. That way, there are no surprise invoices and no vague timelines.
How are data protection and security handled?
Role-based access, secure session handling, encrypted connections, secrets kept server-side and regular backups are applied in every project. Privacy notices and data processing policies remain with you as the data controller. We provide the technical implementation.
