We start barcode work by reviewing your product list and any existing GS1 information. We handle application preparation, number matching and print files as separate steps.
GTIN and barcode
A GTIN identifies a product. A barcode represents the number in a form a scanner can read. Creating artwork does not allocate a number. We match numbers you are authorised to use to the correct products.
Application and product list
We prepare company details and documents according to GS1 Türkiye guidance. We gather product names, variants, pack sizes and codes in one shared list. We assess changes that need new numbers against the GTIN Management Standard.
Printing and placement
We set the barcode's size, the clear space around it and its contrast to suit the conditions of use. We check trimming, folds and surface curvature on the packaging. Alongside on-screen checks, we plan with the manufacturer to verify a physical print sample.
File delivery
We deliver the required outputs, such as vector PDF and EPS files, with a product matching table. When a product is new or its packaging changes, we reassess whether new numbers are needed.
We can plan barcode placement together with packaging design, and online product records together with e-commerce website design.

Frequently asked questions
Is creating barcode artwork the same as obtaining a number?
No. The artwork is a scannable representation of the number. Using GS1 requires a properly allocated number that is matched to the product. We check your existing numbers first.
Do we need a new application if we already have GS1 membership?
Not always. We review your existing membership, number capacity and product list, and work out what's needed in line with GS1 guidance.
Does a product change require a new barcode?
It depends on the change. We assess changes to product type, contents or pack size against GTIN rules. We keep a table showing which number belongs to which product.
Can we make the barcode as small as we want?
No. The barcode type, printing method and scanning environment determine the right size. We allow room for the barcode and the clear space around it, and we don't distort its proportions to make it fit the design.
Is a phone scan enough to check print quality?
A phone scan is a basic test. We plan physical sample checks and appropriate verification with the producer to assess material and print quality.
Does barcode preparation include a stock system?
No. A barcode carries the product identifier. Managing stock, sales and warehouse movements requires separate software. If you need these connections, we plan them separately.
