Graphic Design

We design web, admin panel and mobile interfaces that help users find what they are looking for and complete their tasks.

Production planning screen: weekly plan by machine, clash warning and alternative suggestion

Which interfaces do we design?

01

Data-dense screens

On planning, quality control and reporting screens, we arrange information in order of importance. Users can see alerts and task statuses as they drill into the details.

Quality control screen: measurement values, batch distribution and assessment
02

Shop-floor and tablet interfaces

We design shop-floor screens with large buttons and clear field labels. We arrange how data such as production counts, work orders and downtime reasons is entered to suit the working environment.

Operator tablet screen: work order, instructions, quantity produced and downtime reasons
03

Map and operations panels

We design screens for tracking shipments through maps and lists, showing delays and status changes in the relevant record.

Logistics operations centre: shipment list, route on the map and status information
04

Client portals

We design portal screens where clients can track their own shipments, documents and delivery status.

Client portal: shipment list, route progress and documents
05

Mobile app screens

We design screens that let field staff follow tasks, deliveries and required documents from their phones.

Driver app: the day's deliveries and the active delivery

We design every screen with shared rules.

Design system

We define shared rules for recurring elements such as buttons, forms and tables, so new screens can use the same components.

  • Button
  • Form
  • Table
  • Notification
  • Status label
  • Dialog
  • Empty state

Empty, loading and error states

We also design what users see when there is no data, loading is in progress or an action cannot be completed.

  • Empty list
  • Data loading
  • Action failed
  • Unauthorised access

Accessibility

Contrast, keyboard use and form labels are part of the design decisions.

  • Contrast
  • Keyboard
  • Form label

Consistent status indicators

We use consistent colours, labels and icons for each status across screens, so users do not have to rely on colour alone.

  • In transit
  • Planned
  • Delivered
  • Delayed

Handover to the developer

Screens, components and behaviour notes are handed over together.

More about this service

UX design addresses the steps a user takes to complete a task. UI design defines the screen layout, controls and visual design for those steps. At Şahan Design, we develop the flow and interface together.

The user's task

We first examine who performs each task, what information they need and where they struggle. For an existing product, we review screens, feedback and available usage data. We plan the work needed for user interviews and testing separately.

Flows and wireframes

We map task steps, information order and transitions between screens. We use simple wireframes to decide where content goes. At this stage, we also handle states such as empty lists, loading, errors and unauthorised access.

Interfaces and shared components

We create shared rules for colour, typography, spacing, buttons, forms and tables. We check components at different screen sizes with realistic sample content. Readability, keyboard use and form labels are part of the design.

Prototype and handover

A clickable prototype lets us review key tasks before development begins. We deliver screens, components, assets and behaviour notes in a file developers can use. If software development is also needed, we agree its scope separately.

See our Meridyen and Arven dealer portal projects. We can also discuss our admin panel and mobile app development services.

Process

How does the process work?

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

You tell us what you want to do, and together we pin down the scope.

  2. 02

    Approve the quote

Once the scope, stages and price are clear, you approve the contract and payment plan in the panel.

  3. 03

    Follow the process

We share the work at the agreed stages and review your feedback together.

  4. 04

    Take delivery

For handover, we prepare the files and usage information covered by the approved scope.

Reviews

We’d like to thank Abdullah for his attentiveness and professional approach. We had our own ideas in mind for our corporate logo. With Abdullah’s creative work, it evolved into something completely different. As a company, we were very pleased. I’ll definitely be calling him for future projects.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UX defines the steps users take to complete a task. UI designs how those steps appear on screen. We work on both together because flow and presentation influence each other.

Can you redesign an existing application's interface?

Yes. We first review the existing business rules and technical constraints. Updating the appearance and changing task flows involve different work. We agree what to keep and what to change at the start.

Is a clickable prototype a working application?

A prototype demonstrates screens and transitions. Real data storage, permissions and integrations are implemented during development. The prototype lets us review key tasks before coding begins.

Does every project need a design system?

Its scope depends on the product's size. Basic colour, typography and component rules may be enough for a small project. As the number of screens grows, we organise those rules in a more detailed component library.

Do you carry out usability testing?

We set the scope of user testing separately, and plan the participants, tasks and evaluation method together. Reviewing the prototype with your team is part of the design process.

Is development included in UI and UX design?

This service covers the design work. We prepare the screens and behaviour notes ready for handover to developers. If you'd like us to build the software as well, we can plan that separately within the same project.
