SKYLOCK LOGO DESIGN

We designed the logo and brand identity for Skylock Roofing Systems from scratch. The Dubai-based company works on rainscreen facades and free-form roofing systems for prestigious construction projects across the Arabian Peninsula.

We began the design process with industry and competitor research. The brand draws inspiration from Zaha Hadid’s fluid architectural language, and this was one of the key factors in setting the visual direction. We developed various sketches based on the letter “S”, roof profiles and free-form surfaces.

In the resulting logomark, we combined the fluid “S” form with roof geometry. In this way, we brought the brand’s technical side and its free-form architectural approach together in a single mark. We also created a corporate and technical visual language using a colour palette of navy blue and turquoise.
