MEL'S ARTISAN LOGO DESIGN

I designed a timeless brand identity for Mel's Artisan. The main goal was to translate the vision of its founder, Ms. Meliha, and the artisan production philosophy into a visual language.

In the logo I drew on the organic lines of Art Nouveau. A feminine silhouette representing Ms. Meliha, a diamond form shining on the forehead, flowing hair lines symbolising naturalness and a handwritten 'made with love' slogan came together in a single iconic form. These four elements reflect the brand's quality-focused, love-driven approach to production.

In the palette I moved away from the sector's familiar pastels and chose a combination of Forest Green and Royal Gold; this both strengthened the premium perception and gave the brand a sophisticated stance.

The result is a brand system that highlights Mel's Artisan's boutique café & patisserie identity, one that won't go out of fashion and will gain value over time.
